Accessibility on Sundays
Our courtyard entrance is step-free, and there is an accessible restroom just inside. The sanctuary has a hearing loop, and large-print song lyrics are available at the welcome table every Sunday. If you need anything else to take part, tell us and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Accessibility online
We aim for this website to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines: readable contrast, text alternatives for images, keyboard-friendly navigation and captions on sermon videos where possible. If something on the site doesn’t work for you, email hello@alderstreetchurch.org and we’ll fix it.
Organization
Alder Street Church is an Oregon nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our tax ID is available on request for donors and grant makers.
Safeguarding
Every staff member and volunteer who serves children or students completes a background check and annual safety training, and every kids room always has two approved adults present.
Photography
We sometimes photograph gatherings for our website and newsletters. If you’d rather not appear in photos, let the welcome team know and we’ll make sure you’re left out.
