Who we are

Alder Street Church (“we,” “us”) is a church at 1418 SE Alder Street, Portland, Oregon. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and in person, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you fill out a form, we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone number and anything you write in the message. When you give online, our payment processor collects your payment details; we never see or store full card numbers. Like most websites, we also collect basic, anonymous analytics such as pages visited and device type.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, plan for your visit, send giving receipts and year-end statements, and share church news if you ask for it. We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Children

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information online. Kids check-in details collected on Sundays are used only for safety and pickup, and are stored securely.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the church, such as our email, giving and check-in providers, and only as much as they need to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. Email hello@alderstreetchurch.org or call (503) 555-0148.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
